Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of famous actor Anil Kapoor is one of the highest paid Bollywood film actresses. She was born on 9 June 1985 in Mumbai, India. Sonam studied arts and theatre at the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore. She made her debut in Bollywood Film Industry with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic movie “Saawariya” in 2007. It was a critical and commercial failure. She got nominated in Filmfare Award for the Best Female Debut for this movie. Her next movie “Delhi-6” (2009) was also a failure. Her first commercially successful movie was “I Hate Love Storys” opposite Imran Khan which was released in 2010. The movie earned ₹725.2 million (US $11 million). In 2010 she signed as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris. Kapoor played the lead role in “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” opposite Salman Khan which was one of the Highest Grossing Bollywood Films Of All Time. She has signed on for Rajkumar Hirani ‘s Untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic.
